Who are you on Ambition?

A.) Students & Applicants: Applicants and Students who intend to take part in the ambition program and use the program services for their professional growth.

B.) Company Representatives / Employers: Individuals representing your organization or startup who intend to participate in the Ambition and JCP program for user talent upscaling, and recruiting.

Using Ambition is a binding agreement: Similar to clicking "Join Now" on other platforms, by using Ambition (including registering, accessing, or using their services) you're entering a legal agreement with Zealtio. This agreement covers all of Ambition' services, including their website, apps, and data collection practices.

Terms & Conditions

Account Information & Security

You are responsible for the information you provide and the security of your account.

● Accurate Information: You must provide correct and up-to-date information when creating your Ambition account.

● Account Security: You are responsible for keeping your account secure, including your password. Notify Ambition immediately if you suspect any unauthorized activity.

● Account Ownership: Your account belongs to you, but if someone else paid for your access (like an employer buying a recruiter seat), they can see reports on your account usage.

Age Restrictions:

● Minimum Age: You must be at least 16 years old to use Ambition. This might be higher depending on local laws.

● One Account Per Person: You can only have one Ambition account, and it must be in your real name.

Organization Usage Term and Conditions

 

General Terms

These terms specifically apply to Organization and supplement the general terms and conditions for all site users. By using the platform to use the Ambition program features and services for user skills upscaling, and talent recruiting the Organization being represented by their representative agree to comply with these terms.

Violation of these terms may result in:

● Initial warning followed by services restrictions

● Account termination

● Legal action

Organization Account Usage:

● Authorization: The represenative of the organization must have the authority to use the ambition services for recruiting, talent upscaling and finding on behalf of their organization. Any legal issues arising from unauthorised postings are the sole responsibility of the employer.

● Logo Usage: Organizations using Ambition services authorise Ambition to display their company logo on the website.

● Accurate Information: Organizations must provide accurate and complete job and company details during the recruitment process. Misinformation or hidden information may result in account termination or other penalties.

● Organization Verification: Organizations may be required to submit company documents for verification purposes. This information is used solely for verification and will not be shared and will be kept confidential.

● Promoting: Ambition reserves the right to promote the outcome of the Ambition's JCP and other services on social media, job boards, and other platforms.

● Job Posting Criteria: Job postings must meet minimum stipend or salary requirements.

● Job Posting Limits: Job posting limits vary based on employer location (domestic or international) and subscription plan.

Prohibited Job Postings Ambition strictly prohibits the following types of job postings:

● Unpaid internships (except for specific organizations)

● Training programs requiring upfront payments

● Jobs involving charging fees to applicants

● Modeling jobs

● Network marketing positions

● Jobs involving alcohol, tobacco, or other substances

● Jobs promoting explicit religious content, gambling, or pornography

● Third-party job listings

● Jobs promoting betting or activities unsuitable for minors

● Freelancing opportunities

● Job postings with misleading or inaccurate information

● Job postings requiring applicants to open bank accounts or Demat accounts

● Job postings involving the sale or promotion of employer products or services

Employer Obligations Employers must:

● Maintain Consistency: Job details provided to applicants must match the advertised information.

● Fair Assessments: Any assessments given to applicants should be job-related and not exploitative.

● Professional Communication: All interactions with applicants must be professional and respectful.

● Formal Offer Letters: Upon hiring, employers must provide detailed offer letters including job details, compensation, and payment terms.

● Timely Payment: Stipulated remuneration must be paid to applicants as per the agreed-upon terms.

● Respond to Complaints: Employers must respond to applicant complaints within 72 hours.

● Report Suspicious Activity: Employers should report any suspicious activity on the platform to Ambition.

By using Ambition, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Failure to do so may result in account suspension or legal action.

Sharing and Data Usage

 

Information Sharing and Privacy

Ambition provides various ways to share information, including profile details, group posts, links, messages, and InMails. The visibility of shared content can be controlled through privacy settings. By default, job applications and job interest signals are shared only with the job poster.

Ambition reserves the right to remove any content from the platform without prior notice.

 

Applicant Data Usage

Employer data usage is strictly regulated:

● Purpose Limitation: Applicant data obtained through Ambition can only be used for the hiring & upscaling process only on Ambition platform.

● Data Privacy: Sharing applicant data with third parties is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy will result in account termination and potential legal action.

Payment and Refunds

● Payment Terms: All payments for Ambition services are due in full upfront.

● Refunds: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to Ambition' refund policy. Ambition does not guarantee specific refund timelines or methods.

Fair Usage Policy

Employers subscribed to premium plans have a posting limit of TBD listings (internships and jobs combined) within a TBD-day period. This policy ensures fair usage of the platform for all premium subscribers.

Applicant Terms and Conditions

General Terms

These terms specifically apply to applicants and supplement the general terms and conditions for all site users. By using the platform, applicants agree to comply with these terms.

 

Violation of these terms may result in:

● Rejection of job applications

● Account termination

● Legal action

Applicants must:

● Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

● Provide accurate and up-to-date information.

● Use their real name on their profile.

● Maintain professional behavior on the platform. Application and Job Acceptance

● Timely Response: Applicants must respond to application-related communications within 72 hours.

● Job Commitment: Accepted job offers must be honored. Failure to start a job or last-minute cancellations can negatively impact an applicant's reputation and may lead to account termination or reporting to the applicant's college administration. ● Accurate Information: Providing false or misleading information during the application or account creation process is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination and reporting to the applicant's college administration.

● Relevant Applications: Applicants must carefully review job details before applying. Irrelevant applications may lead to account penalties.

● Data Privacy: Sharing employer data is strictly forbidden. Violations will result in account termination and potential legal action.

Community Standards

● Professional Conduct: Applicants must maintain professional behavior in all interactions on the platform.

● Reporting Abuse: Suspicious activity should be reported to Ambition immediately.

● No Job Guarantee: While Ambition strives to provide job opportunities, job placement is not guaranteed.

Additional Terms

● Notifications: Applicants consent to receiving notifications from Ambition.

● Profile Photos: Uploaded profile pictures may be shared with employers and other platform users. Ambition reserves the right to remove inappropriate photos.

● Platform Misuse: Applicants agree not to create false identities, misuse platform data, violate intellectual property rights, or interfere with platform operations.

● Safety Tips: Applicants are advised to review the Safety Tips section for guidance on protecting personal information and conducting safe interactions with employers.

● Disclaimer: While Ambition strives for accuracy, job information may contain errors. Applicants are encouraged to conduct their own research and assume responsibility for job suitability.

● No Endorsement: Ambition does not endorse any specific employer or job opportunity.

Safety Tips for Applicants

Ambition is committed to providing a safe and secure platform for job seekers. To ensure a positive experience, we have implemented strict guidelines for employers. Prohibited Employer Activities Employers are strictly prohibited from:

● Offering unpaid positions: Unless explicitly stated in the job posting.

● Requiring upfront payments: Charging fees for training programs, security deposits, or any other reason.

● Misleading job descriptions: Providing inaccurate or misleading information about job roles, responsibilities, or compensation.

● Exploitative practices: Using applicants for unpaid work disguised as assessments or requiring them to complete tasks unrelated to the job role.

● Promoting illegal or unethical activities: Including but not limited to:

  1. Modeling jobs from unknown companies

  2. Network marketing schemes

  3. Jobs involving alcohol, tobacco, or other substances

  4. Jobs associated with explicit religious content, gambling, or pornography

● Posting third-party job listings: Only authorized employers and recruiting agencies can post jobs on the platform.

 

Employer Obligations

Employers must:

  1. Maintain transparency: Provide accurate and consistent job information throughout the application and hiring process.

  3. Maintain professional communication: Conduct all interactions with applicants in a professional and respectful manner.

  4. Provide formal offer letters: Clearly outline job details, compensation, and payment terms upon hiring.

  5. Fulfill payment obligations: Pay selected applicants the agreed-upon remuneration in a timely manner. By adhering to these guidelines, employers can create a positive and trustworthy experience for job seekers.

 

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

 

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. Zealtio and its affiliates disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

 

Zealtio and its affiliates shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising from the use or inability to use the Site or its content.

 

Zealtio uses reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the content, but makes no representations or warranties regarding its completeness or correctness.

Jurisdiction

For others outside who live outside of the United States: You and Zealtio Pvt Ltd agree that the laws of the State of Texas, U.S.A., excluding its conflict of laws rules, shall exclusively govern any dispute relating to this Contract and/or the Services. You and Zealtio Pvt Ltd both agree that all claims and disputes can be litigated only in the federal or state courts in Dallas,Texas, USA, and you and Zealtio Pvt Ltd each agree to personal jurisdiction in those courts
